Never underestimate the degree to which New Zealanders and Australians hate each other. IT’S REALLY BEAUTIFUL.

When XI came out I legitimately wrote half a RPF of Karl Urban and Eric Bana, two of the nicest people on set, who for some reason hate each other’s guts.

It was full of sheep fucker jokes, “NZ is half an hour ahead, fifty years behind”, convicts the lot of them. etc etc.

Then Eric tapped Karl on the shoulder on ANZAC day and they stood together for their minute of silence and Simon explained it to the rest of the cast

so what i’m getting from my dashboard is that zachary quinto and chris pine skipped the dramatic love affair and hollywood marriage and honeymoon periods and moved straight to being old married grandpas together, complete with combovers and Mr. Rogers sweaters and fierce scrabble competitions and reminiscences over scrapbooks.

This is incredibly accurate to what I’ve been seeing, too.
